What is Homestay.com and how does it work?

Homestay.com is a global accommodation booking website for people seeking a real
and genuine travel experience. It allows you to book a room in another person’s home.
At the core of the homestay experience is a host being present to welcome the guest
into their home.

Homestay.com have partnered with health services such as the NHS and Adult Social Care associations to provide their staff an opportunity to find suitable accommodation close to their place of work by staying in the home of a local employee.

Currently running as a pilot program for the NHS and Adult Social Care associations, the private marketplace allows for health/social care home
owners to advertise their spare rooms by signing up as a Host free of any charge. Health/Social care workers in need of accommodation can then search for available rooms.

After reviewing the room and price of stay, the Guest can make a Booking Request to
the Host. Homestay.com takes a 7% commission fee, which the Guest pays
online via credit / debit card when they complete the booking.
