Homestay.com is an Irish based data controller and we have strict obligations that we are held to under Irish and EU Data protection and privacy laws. The Model Rules for Reporting by Platform Operators regarding Sellers in the Sharing and Gig Economy (MRDP) places a legal obligation on Homestay to share the data of ‘reportable sellers’ using the Homestay.com website. We are obligated by law to report this information for all MRDP countries as and when instructed under this directive.
