How do I sign up as a host?

Begin by visiting https://nhs.homestay.com/host and fill in the required fields. You will receive a confirmation email containing a link where you can complete your homestay profile with information about you and your home, including some photos which potential guests can view on the site when choosing a homestay to book.

For NHS workers

1. Visit https://nhs.homestay.com/host 
2. Under 'Select your service', choose NHS Trust
3. Accept the Terms and Conditions, confirm you're living in the homestay and that you work for the NHS. Please note that by accepting the conditions you agree that you are living in the property.
4. Select from the dropdown the NHS Trust / Partner you work for.
5. Provide your name, NHS work email address, password and a contact number.

For Adult Social Care workers

1. Visit https://nhs.homestay.com/host 
2. Under 'Select your service', choose Adult Social Care
3. Accept the Terms and Conditions, confirm you're living in the homestay and that you work within Adult Social Care. Please note that by accepting the conditions you agree that you are living in the property.
4. Provide the ODS code that corresponds to your service provider. If you are unsure of your ODS code, please ask your employer.
5. Provide your name, email address, password and a contact number.

Submit the form and then proceed to complete the 8 step wizard making sure that you are providing accurate information about your house, your family, your location, your rules and, last but not least, upload the greatest photos of all you mentioned, especially the bed and room.

To finish, our support team will carefully review your profile and notify you by email if it is completed correctly and ready to be set live. If there is something missing, we will go back to you explaining the best way to improve your listing to become a host. 

Once your profile is in tip-top shape, you'll start to receive requests and be ready to make online bookings. 

As a host you set and manage your own rates, availability and requests from potential guests. You can also make changes in your profile from your own Homestay.com account.
